Power of money

Making your own money is quite the dream these days. But it is not just a modern fad, as it is the direct result of our inner desire to live and thrive. It is tied to our desire for freedom. We don't just want to live, but we want to live well. I'm not endorsing greed, because there are those whose engine of desire is simply to further themselves, without regard to their environment or fellow man. But I salute those who do good things with their money, or at least intend to do so when the money comes.

However we go about it, whether by hunting for a high-paying job, or trying to start a lucrative business, we gotta admit that we all want to make money, not just for the reputation, but for the ability to effect positive change, as opposed to merely talking about it, which is exactly all you can do when you have no money. This ties back in to the 'How to change the world' conundrum. Wanting to make money is a good thing when it is driven by a desire to use that money to do good things.
