More articles by Heather Frazier911 If you enjoy listening to Sia, and Zero 7, you'll really like the electro-alternative-folk band Husky Rescue. My favorite song, "City Lights" is from their first album Country Falls, which came out in 2004. On the band's website they describe the album as "a small parcel of sweet and melancholic daydreams." That's a really good description, too, because their music is perfect for when you're just sitting there daydreaming.
Husky Rescue is made up of five members, and they are all from Helsinki, Finland. Their newest album came out in January this year, titled "Ghost is Not Real." This album is described as a more dark atmosphere, "like searching for the smallest glints of paradise behind the dark cloud of the modern world we live behind." Tracks on the album include a three part song called, "Blueberry Tree." Regardless, the dream-like music they create needs to get more exposure! They have not yet toured the US, but if you're in Finland, the UK, or Ireland, check out their schedule! You can also visit their MySpace page here. I hope to hear and learn of more from this group in the near future. Text and Photo Sources: Husky Rescue Website, MySpace Sponsored by EnterTo.com the first REAL spam free email
