Brian Josepher
Brian Josepher is the author of three books. His first book, a
collection of stories entitled I Know Who Shot M and Other Love Stories , is a reflection on identity, love and the emotional zigzag
love engenders. His second book, a novel entitled What the Psychic Saw , chronicles the 20th century in six chapters, through a dazzling
display of both characters and events relevant and arcane. His third
book, a history entitled Roosevelt and the Holocaust : A Rooseveltian
Remembers the Times and Explores the Policies, details Franklin
Roosevelt's and America's response to the Holocaust. Alan Brinkley,
one of America's top historians, called this book "a very accomplished
work of scholarship - fair-minded, unflinching, and intelligent." The
author is currently working on the The Complete and ExtraOrdinary
History of the October Surprise: America's hostages in Iran and the
election of Ronald Reagan. Did the Reagan campaign sign a deal with
the Khomeinists delaying the release of the hostages until after the
presidential election of 1980? "The answer is yes," Josepher says,
"and, for the first time ever, I have conclusive proof." The author
lives in New York City with his beloved dog Isaac.
