Marpessa Assemian
I am a young woman growing up in a household where my family lives month to month. I do not have a steady job, but work hard each day just to apply to as many positions I feel apply to me, according to my experience in college and working in a doctor's office. I feel that I still need to work hard to humble myself and still find opportunities wherever I can to voice my opinion and just find someone that can relate to my struggle.
It is difficult right up to this moment to believe my family is going to make it. I hope everyday that my parents will be able to find financial independence again and spend the majority of my time trying not to worry that we don't have enough money to make it till the end of the month.
I would like to write about my life experiences with friends, professors, strangers, and hopefully offer some insight, open minds to those who believe certain events in my life should be ignored in their lives.
Most importantly I want to be a role model to those out there who are going through a similar experience so they won't feel as alone as I feel now.
