Alison Somerville
Alison Somerville has had an interest in wine since she was teething and port was used to soothe her gums. Despite the law of the land, she was allowed modest portions of wine with dinner during her formative years. Lively wine - related dialogue with her grandfather on special occasions sparked an interest to learn more. Alison completed the Wine Spectator online classes, holding weekly tasting's and becoming chummy with the folks at the area wine shops. She is now perusing an Associates Degree in Oeonolgy at the Mediterranean Wine Academy. She began her blog to share her knowledge and passion for the fruit of the vine with those interested in wine not just because it taste better than beer. She is older than she looks.
